My monograph ›The Apparatus is Present – zur Verbindung von Experiment und Konzert in der Musikforschung‹ is out. It is released by german publishing house transcript Verlag and it has its own webpage. Here is a short english summary:

»In this study, I draw on experiences from the multi-year research project GAPPP, where I examined aspects of how musical experiencing unfolds in performance settings. The book explores how experimental practices might be mobilized to investigate how music is experienced in concert situations, that is, beyond the confines of the traditional laboratory.
Since the analysis identifies research technologies as essential components of such situated and temporally oriented experiments, I pay particular attention to describing the distinctive roles they play within these investigative configurations.
By connecting practical research experience with a discussion of influential publications in the field, the conditions and limitations that arise from traditional laboratory practices of experimental music research come into view. At the same time, it becomes evident that many aspects of situated experimentation in music research remain undertheorized and require further clarification. This work contributes to that endeavor.
In doing so, the book offers contributions to the theory of science by examining how experimental investigations can be pursued when music is understood as a complex phenomenon and musical experiencing is conceptualized with reference to theories of embodied and situated cognition. This perspective opens up connections to debates on the performative dimensions of the research technologies involved in experimentation, as well as to ongoing discussions surrounding research practices at the intersection of art and science.«

The new version of my website is online. As always, it starts bare bones, as always, it will eventually fill, as always it will never be finished, always remain a work in progress, always be incomplete, always be missing something and as always it will be replaced someday by a newer – yet deficient version.

My goal is to gradually add documentation of my alreadyexisting works as well as of future projects. Also, I disconinue maintaining any documentation on social media.
